Dean of Education

The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Education, a visionary leader to drive the institution's mission of preparing educators who enhance society through teaching rooted in liberal arts and sciences. The successful candidate will be the chief academic and administrative officer of the School, leading it through a period of transformational change and growth. Key responsibilities include fostering innovation in curriculum design, expanding online and hybrid program offerings, and exploring new academic pathways. The Dean will also be tasked with modernizing curricula, enhancing field supervision, and developing interdisciplinary opportunities that align with the evolving educational and workforce landscape. Strategic leadership in curriculum innovation, particularly in collaboration with other academic deans, and ensuring the quality and compliance of all programs with accreditation and state licensure standards are essential aspects of the role. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Education must hold a terminal degree in a relevant field, with a strong record of teaching, scholarship, and service. Experience in leading curriculum innovation, including online program development, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of K-12 or community partnerships, knowledge of accreditation processes, and experience in securing external funding. A background in designing and managing hybrid or fully online learning programs, as well as experience in school psychology or health science education, is preferred. The Dean will be expected to engage in strategic planning, and governance, and to represent the School at various levels, serving as a visible advocate for its mission and initiatives.
