Vice President, Commercial Portfolio Management

The Company is in search of a VP Commercial Portfolio Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including the analysis of loan data for new, renewal, and existing loans, preparation of various financial documents and reports, and the management of client relationships. This role requires a professional who can influence their own development, is passionate about their work, and is not defined by a job title. The VP Commercial Portfolio Manager will also be involved in credit inquiries, maintaining credit files, providing technical advice to the Relationship Manager, and working on loan approval presentations. Applicants for the VP Commercial Portfolio Manager position at the company should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent business experience, with a minimum of four years in banking, particularly in the areas of relationship management and commercial lending. A strong background in client prospecting and a proven track record in business development are essential. The role demands a candidate with excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills, as well as a working knowledge of financial analysis, accounting theory, and the ability to communicate effectively. The ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and have a strong understanding of accounting, financial statement spreads, cash flows, and credit analysis is also required.
