Vice President, Anti-Money Laundering

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily AML compliance operations, which include customer checks, risk assessments, and transaction monitoring. This role also involves keeping AML/CFT policies and procedures current with regulatory changes, monitoring transactions for suspicious activity, and working with other teams to resolve any issues in AML/CFT systems or processes. The Vice President will be expected to respond to internal audits, regulatory reviews, and investigations, as well as coordinate with the Head Office on AML/CFT and sanctions-related matters. Additionally, the role includes the creation and delivery of AML/CFT training for staff. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a university degree from a recognized institution and a minimum of 8 years' experience in compliance, legal, audit, risk, or regulatory roles, with a preference for those with a background in brokerage or investment banking. An AML certification, such as ACAMS, is a plus. The ideal candidate will be able to handle pressure and meet deadlines, and will be adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential for this role.
