Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a strong business focus to join their international and innovative team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing legal support across the organization, with a primary role in managing legal risk and ensuring the achievement of business objectives. Key responsibilities for this position include drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating commercial agreements, supporting M&A transactions, and advising on corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance. The role also involves handling matters related to intellectual property rights, privacy, data security, and AI, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of internal policies and compliance programs. Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should have a Master’s degree in law, be fluent in both Norwegian and English, and have the ability to practice law in Norway. The ideal candidate will have legal experience in business law, with a preference for those with a background in the SaaS or technology sector. A proven track record in managing and executing M&A transactions, strong business acumen, and a strategic mindset are essential.
