Associate Vice President, Compliance Advisory

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Compliance Advisory. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compliance support to business and enablement units, understanding technical details in global private banking and securities services, and being the first point of contact for compliance requirements and queries. This role involves attending training to stay updated on compliance processes, conducting meetings with the business, and being actively involved in day-to-day compliance deliverables. The AVP will also contribute to the implementation of compliance policies and procedures, support in compliance risk assessments, and be involved in regulatory reporting and requests. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in management, banking, or finance, with a preference for certification in compliance-related subjects, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in banking or a related financial institution. The role requires the ability to act as a subject matter expert in compliance, develop relationships to promote best practices, and advise on technical insights related to compliance requirements. The AVP will also be involved in investigating compliance breaches, representing compliance at governance meetings, and reviewing new business projects and product development from a compliance perspective. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of compliance in the financial sector.
