Head of AI & Data

The Company is seeking a Head of AI & Data to lead its data and AI strategy, governance, analytics, and innovation across the full data lifecycle. The role includes implementing AI solutions to improve outcomes and enhance classroom learning, partnering with senior stakeholders to identify priorities, and translating data into actionable insights through reports and dashboards. The successful candidate will lead analytics initiatives, define KPIs, oversee school information data, and promote data literacy through training. They will also ensure regulatory compliance, manage data-related risks, uphold information security standards, and report on the impact of data initiatives. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred. They should bring 10–15 or more years of industry experience, including at least eight years in data and AI, along with a record of setting and delivering strategy. Strong expertise in data management, governance, analytics, data protection, and security is required, as are excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with school information systems and a commitment to safeguarding children are also required.
