Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greater Albuquerque, NM Area

The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to provide overall leadership, strategy, and accountability, advancing its mission and long-term sustainability. The CEO will partner with the Board of Directors on governance, strategic and business planning, and performance reporting, while leading the executive team and aligning organizational functions with strategic priorities. Responsibilities include overseeing affiliated entities, financial stewardship and budgeting, risk management, compliance, and organizational performance. The CEO will also represent the organization externally, building relationships with community partners, donors, funders, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. At least seven years of senior executive leadership experience overseeing organizational strategy, operations, and finances is required, along with experience leading complex, multi-site organizations and working directly with a governing board. The role calls for executive vision, financial acumen, sound judgment, integrity, and expertise in governance, change leadership, organizational development, and relationship management. Strong communication, problem-solving, team-building, decision-making, and risk-management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage sensitive matters and deliver measurable results.
