Vice President of Operational Excellence, Contract Logistics Greater Amsterdam, Netherlands Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operational Excellence for its European Contract Logistics network. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational excellence strategy, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring sustainable business growth. This role involves creating and implementing common processes, tools, and systems across multiple countries, as well as partnering with leaders in various functions to deliver strategic priorities and transformation initiatives. The VP will also guide the development of capabilities in areas such as continuous improvement, business process improvement, and business intelligence, and will be instrumental in the development of customer-focused, commercially viable logistics solutions. Candidates for this role should have significant leadership experience in operational excellence, transformation, or continuous improvement, ideally within a complex, multi-site environment. The role requires a strong understanding of solution design, process optimization, and commercial decision-making, as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong partnerships. Fluency in English and a willingness to travel across Europe are essential. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies, as well as a background in supporting customer acquisition, strategic bids, and leading international teams through change, are also key requirements. The VP will be expected to drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability improvements, and to build a culture of collaboration and continuous learning across the network.
