The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Claims Recovery to set strategic direction and advance recovery capabilities across claims operations. The role leads a team of more than 25 professionals and oversees recovery programs, training, technical development, performance metrics, and operational initiatives. Responsibilities include managing staffing and workflows, providing technical oversight of high-exposure claims, and driving continuous improvement through analysis of trends and emerging issues. The AVP also reports on recovery trends and collaborates with internal and external partners to share expertise and identify recovery opportunities. Candidates should bring in-depth knowledge of claims management and insurance operations, along with working knowledge of finance and accounting. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and talent-development skills are essential, as is the ability to use metrics and analysis to guide decisions. A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred; equivalent education may be considered. Applicants should have at least 10 years of claims experience, including five years in management, and experience leading leaders is strongly preferred; relevant certifications are an advantage.
