Vice President of Health Services

Greater Asheville, NC Area
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Health Services to join their community. The successful candidate will be a key leader, providing strategic and operational oversight of the health services continuum, which includes skilled nursing, assisted living, and related social work and activities services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of care, resident experience, regulatory compliance, and the financial stewardship of the health services division. The Vice President will be responsible for developing and implementing health services goals, performance measures, and staffing plans, as well as leading efforts in quality assurance, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness. Applicants for the Vice President of Health Services position at the company must have a current North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator license and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare administration, senior living, long-term care, or related health services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and experience in a continuing care retirement community or life plan community. Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and relationship-building skills are essential. The role also involves overseeing departmental budgets, staffing, and resources, as well as coaching and developing department leaders. The Vice President will be expected to partner with various stakeholders and support the planning and implementation of service expansions to meet the evolving needs of the residents.
