The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to play a pivotal role in expanding its portfolio of managed hotels. The successful candidate will be the primary growth engine in the eastern U.S., responsible for originating, structuring, and closing third-party hotel management agreements. This executive position demands a professional with a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in a similar business development role, and a well-established network of relationships with hotel owners, institutional investors, and other industry stakeholders. The VP will be expected to spend a significant portion of their time on sourcing, negotiating, and closing deals, as well as actively pursuing new business opportunities and maintaining a high level of client engagement. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development role at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree and have 5-10 years' of experience in a similar capacity. Essential skills include excellent personal presentation, organization, and prioritization, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, dedication to achieving goals, and a commitment to excellence. The VP will be expected to travel extensively within the assigned region and must be comfortable with the demands of the position, including working outside of normal hours to meet business needs. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are also essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
