Associate Executive Director, Child & Family Services

The Company is seeking an Associate Executive Director for Child and Family Services. This leadership role is pivotal in guiding the people, partnerships, and programs that support families in reaching their goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large family-services team, ensuring that children and families receive the compassionate, coordinated, and responsive support they need. Essential functions include leading and developing the team, overseeing case management, family goal-setting, and building strong relationships with families, community partners, and government agencies. The role also involves using data to identify service gaps, lead improvement strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and requirements. This position is ideal for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 5 years' of experience in family services or a related area, and a proven track record of leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, be adept at leading complex projects, and be able to communicate a clear vision while building team commitment. Strong relationship-building, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in Head Start or Early Head Start programs is preferred, as is the ability to travel and maintain required background clearances and certifications. The role requires a leader who can build trust, navigate difficult conversations, and is dedicated to using data to improve outcomes for the families served.
