Vice President, Financial Control Greater Bangkok, Thailand Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Financial Control to lead and oversee all accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of these operations, as well as the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing financial reports, analyzing business performance, and providing strategic insights to management. The VP will also be tasked with collaborating on financial projections, budgeting, and developing and maintaining financial policies and internal controls. A key aspect of the position is leading and developing the accounting and finance team, as well as supporting senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and finance, including a proven track record in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IFRS 17, as well as a solid understanding of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks, are essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the life insurance or insurance industry, and professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred. The role requires strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
