Vice President, Senior Business Analyst, Foreign Exchange & Local Markets Greater Belfast, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Foreign Exchange and Local Markets. The successful candidate will be part of the Operations and Regulatory Technology team, responsible for supporting a variety of projects that involve designing new functionalities for back-office applications, processing systems, and risk management systems. This role requires extensive experience as a Business Analyst within an investment or global bank, particularly in the areas of foreign exchange, trade processing, or risk management. The candidate should have a good understanding of the full front-to-back workflow for at least two asset classes, with familiarity in FX options, bonds, and rates being a plus. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders across various business lines, understanding current business processes, providing functional design inputs, and creating high-quality documentation for business and functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the software development life cycle and agile development methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage the traceability of requirements. They will be expected to analyze large data sets, create flow diagrams, and work closely with development leads to ensure the quality and timely delivery of enhancements. The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects within the operations and regulatory technology space, providing exposure to all facets of FX, MM, fixed income, and derivatives business, trade processing, and risk management. The candidate should be adept at troubleshooting data quality issues and be able to engage with software developers and testers to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions.
