Assistant Vice President, Real Assets Fund Accounting Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President to oversee real assets fund accounting and investor service. Responsibilities include serving as a key contact for investors and fund stakeholders, managing complex inquiries and reporting requests, and coordinating with deal, legal, compliance, tax, and audit teams. The role oversees financial statements, capital activity, investor allocations, valuation processes, and regulatory reporting, while maintaining controls and audit readiness. It also drives reporting and process improvements and leads and mentors a team of accounting professionals. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or ACA credentials are preferred. At least 10 years of private equity fund accounting or alternatives experience, including substantial client-facing work, is required. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, waterfall mechanics, carried interest, and investor economics is essential, along with familiarity with fund accounting platforms and reporting tools. The role also calls for excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, collaboration, and team leadership skills.
