Assistant Vice President, Privacy Engineering, Wealth Services

The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for Privacy Engineering within its Global Privacy Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding Privacy by Design into a variety of consumer-facing activities, with a focus on retail investor data. This includes leading the innovation and collaboration necessary to ensure practical privacy requirements are integrated into new products, systems, and processes. The role involves serving as a primary privacy contact for the business unit, conducting various privacy and data protection assessments, and providing risk-based recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy engineering, technology risk, data lifecycle, or related fields, and be adept at communicating complex privacy and technology concepts to a range of audiences. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience, with a preference for a professional privacy certification. A background in financial services or a regulated industry is also preferred. The role requires a candidate with approximately 5-8 years' of experience in privacy, data protection, information security, or a related field, and a deep understanding of US and global privacy requirements. The ability to work with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, as well as experience in privacy technology, is advantageous.
