The Company is seeking a Business Information Security Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated group responsible for ensuring the security of business and functional teams in accordance with the company's security policy and risk tolerances. Key responsibilities include engaging with information technology and business leadership to integrate security into strategic and tactical plans, championing information security mandates, and addressing cybersecurity and risk posture within business units. The role also involves being a trusted security adviser, cross-pollinating information risk management practices, and supporting the development of security KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, with a focus on cyber risk management, and experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably financial services. Applicants for the Business Information Security Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in information security, with a preference for those with a background in cyber risk management. The role requires a candidate with a modern technical understanding of security domains and the ability to influence and drive security initiatives. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required, and certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISM are preferred. The candidate should be adept at managing security within a business context, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easily understood manner. Critical leadership capabilities include driving results, strategic thinking, and change management. The role demands a professional who can operate at a senior executive level, with a proven track record of successful security adoption and the ability to manage security trade-offs across the organization.
