The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a positive cohort culture, monitoring attendance, and leading a team of form tutors. Key skills required include pastoral leadership, conflict resolution, data literacy, exceptional communication, resilience, and strategic planning. The Head of Year will also be involved in intervention planning, assembly delivery, safeguarding, and will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to meet school-wide targets. Applicants for the Head of Year position at the company should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification, have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one, and demonstrate success in managing complex behavior in a secondary setting.
