The Company is seeking trustees to join its board and play a pivotal role in advancing its mission to challenge educational and social disadvantage. Trustees will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring long-term sustainability, and upholding the values and commitment to exceptional outcomes for children and young people. This significant governance role involves overseeing educational performance, financial stewardship, risk management, and regulatory compliance across a growing network of academies. The ideal candidates will bring sound judgment, strategic insight, and a genuine commitment to public service, with a focus on improving outcomes for young people. The Company is particularly interested in individuals with expertise in finance, audit, risk, and education, including primary and special educational needs. Previous experience in an academy trust is welcomed but not essential. The role requires a time commitment that includes attending board meetings, preparing for discussions, and engaging with the trust's leadership and academies. Trustees are expected to be proactive, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to the ongoing development of their knowledge and skills.
