Executive Director, Assisted Living Greater Brainerd, MN Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The successful candidate will be the operational and strategic leader, responsible for the overall oversight of resident care, employee engagement, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and daily operations. This role requires a dedicated individual to lead and develop high-performing teams, drive financial performance, champion resident and family satisfaction, support occupancy and growth, ensure operational excellence, and maintain regulatory compliance. The Executive Director will also be the primary liaison for ownership groups, providing regular operational and financial updates. Applicants for the Executive Director position must be a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) or a Licensed Health Services Exec by BELTSS Board, with a preference for those holding a Bachelor of Science in senior housing, business, or a related field. The role demands a leader with less than 1 year of experience in a similar capacity, or who meets the requirements for Assisted Living Director – In Residence (ALD-IR) by obtaining a permit from BELTSS. The ideal candidate will have a background in the management of an AL or related facility, with a strong focus on operational excellence, and a passion for creating exceptional resident experiences. Key responsibilities include leading and developing teams, managing the annual operating budget, fostering resident and family relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
