Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead its technology team and define the organization’s technology vision. The role oversees engineering teams, development practices, product strategy, and the evolution and commercial sustainability of software offerings. Responsibilities include setting roadmaps, improving software quality and security, adopting AI-assisted development, managing technology budgets and profitability, and aligning engineering capacity with organizational needs. The CTO also oversees infrastructure, internal systems, security, and compliance, while representing the organization and building partnerships across the global health sector. Candidates should have at least 10 years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership of engineering or product teams and experience in a senior technology leadership role. Required qualifications include managing multiple team leads, building and operating software products—ideally SaaS—and expertise in modern development practices, AI-assisted development, security, compliance, budgeting, and P&L ownership. Excellent written and spoken English is required; French is an asset. Experience in global health or international development, digital health systems, government-hosted deployments, technical partnerships, and organizational change is preferred. Familiarity with Python, Django, AWS, and Kubernetes is beneficial, alongside strong strategic judgment, product sense, communication, and collaboration skills.
