Vice President, External Reporting
About the Role
Greater Brussels, Belgium Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a VP - External Reporting with a strong background in external and regulatory reporting, particularly within the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing Swiss regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high quality in statistical, liquidity, and capital requirements. This role involves maintaining robust controls, data quality, and adherence to regulatory governance standards, as well as collaborating with various internal stakeholders on regulatory reporting matters. The VP will also be expected to support regulatory projects, advise on the impact of new business activities and regulatory requirements, and monitor regulatory developments to keep reporting processes up to date. Candidates for the VP - External Reporting position should have around 5 years' of experience in banking, with a solid understanding of banking products, accounting, and regulatory reporting, including IFRS. Experience in a fast-paced, complex, and highly controlled international environment is essential, as is the ability to work with large volumes of financial data, analyze complex information, and communicate effectively. The role requires advanced Excel skills, and experience with reporting systems, processes, and controls. The ideal candidate will be deadline-driven, detail-oriented, analytical, and curious, with the ability to challenge existing processes when necessary. Fluency in English and a good command of at least French or Dutch is also a requirement.
