This role involves maintaining strong relationships with medical partners, leading clinical transformation, and aligning the clinical care delivery team with the mission and priorities of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a medical degree, be board-certified, and have a minimum of 7 years' of relevant work experience in a healthcare leadership position, with a focus on managed care contract negotiations and improving public health. Candidates for the Chief Physician Executive position at the company should have a medical degree from a recognized institution, with an MBA, MHA, or equivalent management degree strongly preferred. A valid New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in executive healthcare management, particularly within a progressive integrated health system. Experience in a multi-facility healthcare organization and a background in leading large-scale clinical operations, including ambulatory and continuing care, are highly valued. The CPE will also be involved in physician and medical staff recruiting, talent management, and service improvement, and must be adept at leading population health initiatives and clinical research.
