The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including upholding the highest standards of care, compliance, and culture. This role involves leading by example, hiring and training a successful team, and driving staff growth through coaching and development. The Executive Director will also champion the residents, partnering with families and staff to deliver personalized care, and will be tasked with driving occupancy and growth by owning occupancy goals and leading sales and marketing efforts. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a degree in a related field, with a preference for healthcare, business, nursing, or geriatrics, and prior experience in senior housing, healthcare, or a related industry. A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing both staff and a budget is required, along with a proven track record of integrity, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills. The role demands a leader with a natural ability to build relationships, a strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to work as needed. The Executive Director will also be responsible for managing the business aspects of the community, including budgeting, expense management, and continuous improvement.
