The Company is seeking a Head of Asset Management to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in taking strategic responsibility for asset investment, long-term planning, and the performance of the housing stock. The successful candidate will lead the organization's asset investment and strategic planning programs, ensuring that homes are safe, sustainable, compliant, and maintained to a high standard. With a significant annual investment to oversee, the Head of Asset Management will provide strategic leadership across investment planning, stock condition, asset data, and asset performance, driving a data-led approach to maximize value for money. Key responsibilities for the Head of Asset Management include leading the delivery of major asset investment and improvement programs, developing long-term investment strategies, and managing a large and complex budget. The role also involves overseeing asset data, stock condition, and asset performance programs, as well as managing and developing asset management teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the social housing sector, with experience in leading major investment programs within a regulated environment, and a deep understanding of housing health and safety, building safety, and regulatory requirements. A strategic, analytical, and commercially aware approach, along with excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, is essential. A chartered qualification such as RICS or CIOB is advantageous.
