Interim Head of People Advisory & Employee Relations

The Company is seeking a Head of People Advisory and Employee Relations to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be the strategic leader of the Employee Relations framework, ensuring the highest standards of support for employees. This role is pivotal in providing expert guidance on complex ER matters, shaping people policies, and maintaining compliance with UK employment law and financial regulations. The Head of People Advisory will also be responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and psychological safety, and will be a trusted partner to the business, balancing commercial needs with the well-being of the workforce. Applicants must have in-depth knowledge of UK employment law, financial services regulation, and experience in leading ER and People Advisory teams within a regulated environment. The role requires a proven track record in handling high-risk ER cases, building senior stakeholder relationships, and influencing at an executive level. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, resilient, and possess excellent leadership, management, and negotiation skills. A CIPD qualification or progress towards it is desirable.
