Trustee, Aviation (Board-level role)

The Company is seeking an Aviation Trustee to contribute specialist expertise and independent oversight as a member of its Board. The trustee will share responsibility for Board decisions and delegated activities, provide constructive challenge, and support the organization’s strategy and commitment to safe, high-quality care. Key contributions include advising on aviation operations, safety, risk, compliance, assurance, partnerships, contracts, infrastructure, and innovation. The role also involves engaging with stakeholders and working collaboratively with fellow trustees. Candidates should bring governance capability and senior-level experience in aviation operations, with expertise in areas such as safety, regulation, compliance, engineering, airworthiness, or related fields. Strategic and commercial awareness, including the ability to assess contracts, investment decisions, performance information, and sustainability considerations, is important.
