Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Portfolio Management Group Manager

The Company is seeking an SVP for its Commercial Banking Portfolio Management Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a diverse range of complex commercial loan transactions, including those in the middle market, large corporate, and franchise sectors. This role involves overseeing the portfolio management of existing borrower relationships, leading portfolio credit administration, and supporting the growth of commercial loans. The SVP will also serve as a subject matter expert in credit skills, products, or industries, and will be tasked with managing a team of credit underwriting professionals. Essential duties for this position include managing a team of Portfolio Managers in all aspects of the loan process, from due diligence to documentation, and supervising financial analysis and approval requests in line with the company's credit policy. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and lending practices, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 10 years' experience in the banking industry, and a minimum of 5 years in the commercial lending area. Credit analysis training, Microsoft proficiency, and a CPA or MBA are preferred qualifications.
