Vice President, Accounting

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead the full-cycle accounting function for its management entities. Responsibilities include overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; preparing consolidated financial reports and variance analyses; managing intercompany transactions; and establishing consistent accounting policies and internal controls. The role also leads budgeting, cash management, forecasting, banking relationships, and payroll operations, while supporting financial analysis and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will develop and mentor accounting and payroll staff and coordinate closely with senior leadership and human resources. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with CPA certification preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including three or more years in a controller or senior accounting leadership role. Family office experience is preferred, along with hands-on responsibility for payroll, treasury, and budgeting. Applicants should bring strong knowledge of tax-basis accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, multi-state payroll compliance, and banking and cash management. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills are required; familiarity with payroll and accounting systems is an asset.
