Vice President & Controller

The Company is seeking a Vice President and Controller to serve as its chief accountant and a member of the executive management team. Responsibilities include overseeing financial statements, regulatory reports, general ledger reconciliations, payroll, and the annual audit, while managing accounting and back-office staff. The role also provides leadership with financial analysis to support decisions on budgeting, profitability, asset and liability management, liquidity, and regulatory compliance. Additional duties include liaising with regulators, overseeing payment processing and vendor relationships, maintaining data systems, and underwriting consumer and real estate loans. Candidates should have an accounting degree and at least five years of related experience, including two years working in or auditing financial institutions. A CPA credential and management experience are preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and technology skills are required; mortgage banking accounting experience is an advantage.
