Assistant Executive Director, Program

The Company is in search of an Assistant Executive Director - Program to join its Executive Management Team. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for public education, responsible for designing and implementing programs that promote the value and impact of the organization's members in their communities. This role involves serving as a brand steward, developing and executing campaigns to enhance the organization's brand and messaging, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and partners. The Assistant Executive Director will also be tasked with creating sustainable funding avenues, including fundraising and strategic partnerships, to support the organization's mission and growth. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 3 years' of progressive management experience. Essential qualifications include a strong background in program development, strategic planning, and marketing, as well as the ability to manage staff and maintain positive working relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of governance structures, effective communication skills, and a proven track record in policy analysis and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, high-performance standards, and a commitment to a diverse and unionized workplace. Experience in association staff roles and a background in education, marketing, or related fields are also highly valued.
