This leadership position demands a professional with a strong background in technology risk and controls, operational risk, or related disciplines, and a proven track record in delivering control and risk management solutions. The role requires a strategic thinker who can partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of controls, operational resilience, and governance outcomes. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in technology risk and controls, operational risk, product controls, engineering enablement, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience in technology delivery and controls/risk, with a focus on Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) capabilities, automated control testing, and continuous auditing approaches. Strong influencing skills and the ability to partner with Product and Engineering teams are essential. The role also calls for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate monitoring outputs into actionable strategies. Experience in control automation, control strategy for new product launches, and a background in business banking product domains are preferred. Industry certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are a plus.
