Vice President, Supplier Cybersecurity Assessor

The Company is seeking a Supplier Cybersecurity Assessor to join their Supplier Assurance Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth cybersecurity and technology risk assessments of third-party suppliers, with a focus on cloud-hosted environments. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the firm's data and services, as it involves influencing risk decisions and driving enhancements to the global supply chain's security posture. The assessor will be expected to have a minimum of 7 years' experience in relevant cybersecurity disciplines, strong expertise in various cybersecurity domains, and a deep understanding of industry security frameworks. The position requires the ability to assess technical controls, evaluate evidence, and translate technical findings into business risk outcomes. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Applicants for the Supplier Cybersecurity Assessor role at the company should hold a relevant certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or CRISC. Experience with AI-enabled tools, particularly in the context of productivity and risk assessment, is also a key requirement. The ideal candidate will have a background in assessing public cloud environments and may possess additional cloud security or architecture certifications. While not mandatory, experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated sectors is preferred. The role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cybersecurity, with a focus on continuous improvement and the responsible use of technology to enhance assessment practices.
