Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its global and regionally empowered organization. The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic, organizational, and external leadership, with a focus on turning the 2025-2030 strategy into accountable delivery and driving coherent programs that deliver measurable, systems-level impact. This role requires a leader with a deep commitment to the company's purpose, locally led development, and practical solutions that address climate and environmental challenges. The successful candidate will work with the Board of Trustees and Global Leadership Team to shape the organization's vision, strengthen delivery, and ensure financial sustainability through effective resource mobilization and diversified funding. Candidates for the CEO position should have substantial executive leadership experience in a complex international organization, with a strong record of leading organizational transformation and a proven ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. The role demands a leader with strong financial acumen, experience in diversifying income, and a track record of cultivating donor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a global perspective, particularly in the Global South, and the ability to influence and build strategic partnerships. They must be resilient, adaptive, and have a decisive yet enabling leadership style, with a focus on fostering a culture of trust, innovation, and accountability.
