About the Role
Greater Dallas, TX Area (Hybrid)
The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for a client-facing role in the Broking team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, partnering with actuaries and cat modelers to analyze insurance risks on a portfolio level. This analysis is essential for advising clients on reinsurance treaty structures that mitigate downside risk and enhance capital efficiency. The role involves preparing, marketing, and completing reinsurance placements, as well as ensuring all related documentation is accurate and timely. The ideal candidate will also be involved in new business production, product development, and servicing existing clients, and is expected to be a thought leader, conducting research and developing content for clients and industry events. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in reinsurance or consulting, and a University degree or equivalent experience. The role requires a dynamic individual with a strong analytical background, who is capable of working in a team environment and is adept at coordinating internal resources to provide client solutions. While the position does not have official supervisory responsibilities, the candidate should be prepared to assist in the training and development of graduate hires.
