About the Role
Greater Dallas, TX Area (On-site)
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as an Integrator to the Founder. This pivotal role is focused on taking ownership of the day-to-day operations, allowing the Founder to concentrate on business development and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for stabilizing the leadership gap, designing and running advisor sales scorecards, conducting production reviews, and managing the firm's technology stack. A key aspect of the position is to ensure compliance across a distributed advisor network and to partner with the Founder on strategic decisions. The ideal COO will have a proven track record in operational and people leadership, be detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills. While a financial services background is not required, prior experience in the industry or with an RIA is a plus. The Company values trust, compliance, and cultural fit, and is particularly interested in candidates with a military background, especially former field-grade officers. The role follows a deliberate three-year path, with a focus on shadowing and co-leading in the first year, taking over advisor meetings and staff management in the second year, and assuming full ownership of operations in the third year. The COO will be expected to lead a geographically distributed team, and a high level of integrity, discipline, and comfort in a compliance-driven environment is essential. The position is not just about filling a role but about finding a partner who is invested in the long-term success of the organization.
