The Company is seeking a Vice President of Legal to serve as its primary in-house legal advisor and lead legal, compliance, and governance matters across a healthcare services organization. Responsibilities include advising on corporate, employment, contracting, and regulatory issues; managing outside counsel; and supporting strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and growth. The role oversees physician contracting, HR-related legal matters, corporate entity management, and compliance, while partnering with executive leadership and the Board. It also includes providing governance guidance and maintaining Board and corporate records. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and have active bar admission in Texas or their state of residence. The role requires 8–15 or more years of legal experience, including in-house experience and a background in healthcare, healthcare services, or a related environment. Candidates should bring expertise in healthcare regulation, employment law, commercial contracts, corporate governance, M&A, legal entity structuring, and compliance across multi-entity organizations. Strong drafting, negotiation, risk assessment, communication, judgment, and the ability to advise senior leaders are essential.
