The role also involves defining and providing oversight of engineering and design solutions, working within a platform or feature team, and applying Agile and DevOps methodologies to the development of software. Applicants for the Principal Engineer position at the company should have a significant background in software engineering, software or database design and architecture, and experience in developing software within a DevOps and Agile framework. The role requires a strong understanding of the Agile manifesto, empirical process control, and a proven track record in implementing programming best practices.
