The Company is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software, with a focus on building user-facing features using React 18 and TypeScript 5. This role involves working across the system lifecycle, from development to integration, and requires close collaboration with principal engineers, architects, and other key stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong full-stack engineering background, deep frontend expertise, and a proven ability to build secure, reliable, and maintainable applications. Key responsibilities for this role at the company include working with Snowflake and analytical data services to support mortgage pricing and profitability modeling, designing complex data grids, calculations, forms, and modeling workflows, and managing application state using Redux Toolkit. The role also demands experience with modern frontend engineering practices, including Material UI, TanStack Table, and React Hook Form, as well as proficiency in Webpack 5, Babel, and Module Federation architectures. The candidate should be adept at writing automated tests, supporting CI/CD, and have a strong understanding of Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Linux/WSL development environments. Good communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to demonstrate strong debugging and problem-solving skills across frontend, API, and data layers.
