Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Greater Des Moines, IA Area

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for providing strategic leadership to the finance, human resources, information technology, and safety departments. This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies, overseeing the monthly financial reporting process, and enhancing operational strategies to improve productivity. The CFO will also be involved in maintaining relationships with financial institutions and business partners, as well as ensuring the company's safety programs and benefit plans are continuously improved. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a BA in accounting and/or finance, a minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial executive leadership role, and a strong background in full accrual accounting. Experience in a distribution or transportation company is preferred, and a Certified Public Accountant certification is also a plus. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial, technical, and reporting skills, and have a proven track record of promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, integrity, innovation, engagement, and accountability.
