Vice President of Finance Greater Detroit, MI Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to provide enterprise-wide financial leadership across a diverse, multi-entity organization. The role oversees accounting and reporting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, and insurance and risk management, while partnering with executive and business-unit leaders to translate strategy into budgets, forecasts, capital plans, and measurable goals. Responsibilities include strengthening financial visibility and controls, managing liquidity and capital needs, supporting project and business-unit performance, and overseeing audits and compliance. The VP will also modernize financial systems and processes through automation, standardization, and improved data quality, while building a scalable, accountable Finance organization. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, and at least 10 years of progressively responsible finance or accounting experience, including substantial leadership responsibility. Required expertise includes multi-entity or multi-business-unit operations, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and profitability analysis. The role calls for strong people leadership, strategic and operational judgment, clear communication, and a record of improving systems and processes. A CPA, MBA, or other advanced credential is preferred, as is experience in real estate and project- or transaction-based businesses.
