Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the establishment and leadership of a central platform function that will support the growth and development of multiple trading desks within the business. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing global finance and operational infrastructure, ensuring structure, consistency, and control as new trading desks are set up. This role demands a professional with a strong financial background, a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach, and a proven track record in building and scaling a finance function. Key responsibilities include leading global finance, financial control, reporting, and consolidation, managing banking relationships and trade finance facilities, and developing robust financial controls, processes, and systems to support business growth. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will have a minimum of 12 years' of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years' in physical agricultural or soft commodity trading. Experience in the finance, financial controlling, or trade finance functions of an established commodity trading business is essential, as is a strong knowledge of commodity trade finance. The CFO will be expected to work closely with trading teams, lead and develop the finance team, and partner with senior management on strategic decision-making and business expansion. A qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CPA credentials is required, and fluency in Russian, as well as a CFA qualification, is preferred. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of operating effectively in a growing, entrepreneurial environment, and will be instrumental in the development of the company's global operating model.
