The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive plan to enhance the enterprise value of the group, which includes a diverse range of financial services. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in finance, including a minimum of 3 years' experience as a CFO, Group CFO, or VP Finance with full P&L and balance sheet accountability. The CFO will be tasked with closing the gap between a single education business and a diversified financial services group, with a focus on structuring each entity for maximum value and creating a cohesive group that is worth more than the sum of its parts. Key responsibilities for the Group CFO include developing a sum-of-the-parts valuation framework, leading the group to institutional-grade financials, and preparing for a capital event. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance marketing economics, multi-jurisdiction experience, and a deep understanding of financial services. They must be adept at capital allocation, and treasury management, and have a proven ability to protect and improve the economics of a cash engine. The role also requires expertise in fund structuring, regulation, and investor infrastructure, as well as a hands-on approach to legal and corporate affairs.
