The Company is seeking a Divisional CFO to join its senior leadership team. This senior role is pivotal in driving the financial performance of a significant division within the group, with a strong focus on commercial and strategic responsibilities. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the divisional leadership team, influencing the direction of the division, and leading efforts to improve performance and profitability. The role requires a qualified accountant with a substantial post-qualification experience, a background in a large, complex organization, and a proven track record in commercial finance, business partnering, and financial leadership. As the Divisional CFO, the primary responsibilities will include acting as a member of the divisional leadership team, providing financial and commercial input into the business's strategic direction, and taking ownership of the division's financial performance. This encompasses revenue, profitability, cash generation, and return on investment. The role also involves leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes, as well as working closely with operational teams to enhance the financial performance of individual businesses, sites, and markets. Strong leadership capabilities are essential, as is the ability to manage and develop finance teams, and experience in business transformation, integration, M&A, or significant organizational change is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, industrial, or another operationally intensive environment, and will be adept at partnering with and influencing senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
