Head of Projects, Construction

The Company is seeking a Head of Projects - Construction to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the delivery of a diverse range of commercial, workplace, and facilities projects, with a focus on office fit-outs, refurbishments, M&E upgrades, building and infrastructure upgrades, and critical environment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Project Managers, ensuring the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of projects, and managing P&L, budgets, and project margins. Additionally, the role involves business development, including the development of a project opportunity pipeline, leading bids, and building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Applicants for the Head of Projects - Construction position at the company should have a strong background in project management within FM, construction, or critical environments. Experience in leading and developing Project Managers, as well as a proven track record in winning new business and managing bids and tenders, is essential. The role requires excellent client management, negotiation, and communication skills, and relevant technical or project management qualifications are advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to manage project risk, commercial performance, and compliance, and will be adept at recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing project team.
