The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for International Payments to lead a dynamic operational team. The successful candidate will be the primary owner of the company's CHAPS membership responsibilities, ensuring operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and excellence in payment execution. This role involves close partnership with the Bank of England, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for CHAPS operations, overseeing assurance and compliance obligations, representing the company at industry forums, and leading a team to manage daily international payment processes. The role is pivotal in the company's global delivery, providing essential financial tools for effective investment solutions. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President role should have a strong background in CHAPS, RTGS, correspondent banking, or international payments, with a deep understanding of UK payment market infrastructures. Experience in a cash or banking role is preferred, along with previous leadership or supervisory experience in a payments operations environment. The role requires a candidate with a keen attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements. Professional qualifications in banking, payments, risk management, or operations are advantageous.
