Executive Director, AI Institute

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its AI Institute, a pivotal role that demands a visionary and collaborative leader with a strong background in higher education and a deep understanding of generative AI technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic vision and operational leadership, building a comprehensive AI development pathway, and positioning the institution as a regional leader in the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence in higher education. This includes overseeing the Institute's strategic vision, annual priorities, and multi-year roadmap, as well as managing a multidisciplinary team and serving as the principal administrator for the AIHE grant. The role also involves establishing and maintaining regional partnerships, ensuring compliance with AI policies and data governance, and leading change-management and communication efforts. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's AI Institute should hold a master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a doctoral degree, and have at least 7 years' leadership experience in higher education. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising professional staff, managing budgets, and developing partnerships with external organizations.
