The Company is in search of an Ambulatory Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide executive-level leadership in the oversight of nursing practice, clinical operations, and patient care standards across its ambulatory clinic settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a decentralized network of practices, advancing clinical quality, patient safety, and professional nursing practice, and ensuring operational performance across a diverse and growing ambulatory clinic network. This role requires a strategic leader who can integrate clinical excellence with financial and operational performance, develop and execute nursing strategic plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Ambulatory CNO will also be accountable for workforce management, including recruitment, retention, and professional development programs, and will lead the integration of new medical technologies and EHR workflows optimized for outpatient care. Applicants for the Ambulatory CNO position at the company must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as a minimum educational requirement, with a preference for a Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). A minimum of 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience is required, with a preference for experience in an ambulatory clinic or hospital outpatient setting. The role demands an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license, and professional certification in areas such as Ambulatory Nursing, Nurse Executive Advanced, or Certified in Executive Nursing Practice is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic leadership, clinical operations, quality and safety, financial management, regulatory compliance, and workforce management, and will be adept at driving high-quality, patient-centered, and efficient care delivery while advancing nursing excellence and value-based outcomes.
