Dean, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The Dean will be the chief academic and administrative officer, responsible for providing leadership across the College's diverse academic activities. This includes developing and implementing an engaging vision for the future, recruiting and retaining faculty, and ensuring a strong commitment to shared governance. The successful candidate will also be expected to have a proven track record in enhancing research and success in fundraising. The College is a large and dynamic academic unit, with a significant number of faculty, students, and sponsored research expenditures. Applicants for the Dean position at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences must have an earned doctorate, a distinguished record of academic, teaching, and research achievements, and an excellent record of academic leadership and administrative experience. The role requires a leader with strong fiscal and personnel management skills, capable of overseeing the College's extensive programs and departments. The Dean will work closely with a large leadership team, including Associate/Assistant Deans, Department Chairs, and Center Directors, to ensure the continued success and growth of the College.
