Chief Customer Officer (CCO)
Hiring Company
About the Role
Greater Gibraltar Area (Hybrid - Headquarter location)
The Company is seeking a Chief Customer Officer to lead its customer organization and own the retail and institutional Customer P&L. The role brings growth, client coverage, product management, and product design together under one operating model, with accountability for customer contribution, assets attracted and retained, member growth, and retention. Responsibilities include setting the roadmap for savings, lending, credit, and trading products; improving acquisition and lifecycle performance; and strengthening relationships with high-balance and institutional customers. The CCO will work closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to ensure customer propositions are commercially sound, clearly presented, and aligned with approved risk appetite. Success will be measured by outcomes such as improved customer economics, conversion, retention, and assets under management. Candidates should have 10 or more years of senior commercial or customer leadership experience in digital banking, fintech, or payments, including meaningful experience in a regulated environment. Hands-on experience with digital-asset propositions and ownership of a customer or product P&L based on contribution, balances, and margin are required. Applicants should be fluent in banking economics, unit economics, and customer lifetime value, with a record of improving acquisition, activation, and retention in regulated, identity-verification-heavy settings. Banking-grade product leadership across balance-sheet products, strong commercial and risk judgment, and the ability to demonstrate measurable results are essential. Experience with relationship-managed client coverage for high-balance or institutional customers is an advantage.
